Longleaf Golf & Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Longleaf opened for play in 1988. The course architect was Dan Maples. He built this course on the site of one of the Village of Pinehurst's former horse training estates.
Longleaf shows Dan's love of tradition. The course retaines many of the original horse training estate's features -- the white fences, rail post and hedgerows -- have been carefully retained as a tribute to the original site.
The course is a par 71 with a maximum length of 6,600 yards. Tee boxes are set at 6,600, 6,098, 5,363 and 4,672 yards.

Nice classic style course. The front is pretty flat, some greens slope away from the fairways in the back half.. The back nine plays in the hills and valleys. Much more interesting. Nice track, nice people.
